A free test server for anyone learning or building with web requests. Send it a request and it replies for real. It repeats back what you sent, returns any status code you ask for, waits when you tell it to and serves fake data. No sign-up and no keys.

Every endpoint answers any method, sends CORS headers and never caches. Five hidden tracks are in here too. Read the response headers for the first clue.
Every status code, with feeling
/status/<code> returns that status code with its official reason phrase, plus our own joke version in the X-Rock-Reason header. Pass several, like /status/200,500, and you get one at random.
Fake data that isn't lorem ipsum
Ready-made JSON files you can fetch from any website. No rate limit, because they're plain files that never run any of our code.
Fair use
60 requests a minute
That limit is for each IP address, on the live endpoints. Go over it and you get a 429 for a minute, with a Retry-After header. The JSON data has no limit. Need more? Join the waitlist for a paid plan.
Not for load testing
It's for tutorials, demos, CI smoke tests and working out why your code does that odd thing. Please don't point a benchmark at it.
Don't send secrets
We don't store what you send, but it still travels through Cloudflare's network logs. Use fake tokens. That's the whole point of an example.
