Why this example rocks

example.com is a placeholder address reserved for documentation, and it politely asks you not to use it for testing. Fair enough. But every tutorial, demo and CI job still needs something real to call.

So this is that: a small, fast test API for HTTP requests, with the endpoints you reach for most. It covers echo, status codes, delays, redirects, headers and fake JSON. CORS is on, and there is no sign-up.

Live endpoints allow 60 requests a minute for each IP address. The fake JSON is plain files, so it has no limit. We don't store what you send, but please don't send real secrets to any test service, this one included.

Turn it up. 🤘
